It definitely has a better feel than the standard Crux bladder. The bite valve cover, insulated hose and baffle are a great combination. I paired it with my Cabela's Transporter 12 lumbar pack and it fit quite snugly.
I filled the bladder half full and froze the night before and still had ice in it by the time I got home that night (Roughly 10 hrs). I am very pleased with my purchase!!

I needed a SHORT 3L bladder for my hand-cycle and the Lumbar pack is great.
I like the new position of the lid holder. It opens to the back of the bottle when filling.
I like the convenient bite tube cover. Keeps your drinking port clean.
I like the angled exit port.
I have been using Camelbak Mules since the 1990's and these new features on this Lumbar pack are worth upgrading too.
